DOOMED TO EXTINCTION RECORDS Trivalia - Crna Voda 2xLP

Trivalia - Crna Voda 2xLP

$30.00

After years of meticulous work and research, Castra Records unveils the first comprehensive archival release of Trivalia—one of Serbia’s most visionary and enigmatic underground bands. From 1987 to the early 2000s, Trivalia recorded dozens of tracks blending post-punk, gothic rock, industrial, and ritualistic motifs, drawing on inspirations from Stephen King to Byzantine chant. Much of their music originally appeared only on self-released demo cassettes or university-run vinyl editions, with limited distribution under their Black Rider label. Their performances blurred the line between concert and installation, and though rooted in the local scene, they shared aesthetic terrain with bands like Virgin Prunes, Joy Division, Skinny Puppy, and Sisters Of Mercy. This release restores lost material, and is a contextual documentation that was fragmented for decades. It’s both a tribute to Trivalia’s singular creative force and an act of cultural preservation. As an artifact of the Niš underground, this collection contributes to the artistic powerhouses of ex-Yugoslavia. Preserved for history, enduring in impact.  Edition of 257 copies.
